The Sensex fell 130 points to 24420 and the Nifty declined 33 points to 7426. Hindalco (-4 percent), Vedanta (-3 percent), Sun Pharma (-2 percent) and Asian Paints (-2 percent) were the big losers in the Nifty. 
Other laggards in the index were Adani Ports (-1 percent),GAIL (-1 percent),Bharti Airtel (-1 percent) and Zee Entertain (-1 percent). Gainers included ITC (2 percent), Bank of Baroda (1 percent), BPCL (1 percent) and BHEL (1 percent).

The S&P BSE Sensex started traded in a range with a negative bias on Friday ahead of key IIP data, scheduled to be released later in the day.

INDIAN MARKET OVERVIEW
Market showed strong comeback on Thursday after more than 350 points fall on the nifty future in previous six consecutive sessions, driven by index heavyweights Reliance Industries, HDFC and Infosys. Nifty future down by 84 points to close at 7644.
The 30-share BSE Sensex rose 216 points at 25252. The market breadth was strong as about 1847 shares advanced against 835 declining shares on the BSE.
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is keeping a close tab on all SDR cases reported so far and may tighten SDR guidelines to ensure the tool is not being misused by banks to defer or avoid provisioning.
Havells India, the lighting and electrical products manufacturer, decided to sell 80 stake in Havells Sylvania Malta BV owned by its subsidiary Havells Holdings (HHL) and Havells Exim to Chinese company.
GLOBAL MARKET OVERVIEW
Asian stocks slipped on Thursday as weak oil prices continued to feed global growth worries, while the euro held solid gains after a policymaker poured cold water on market expectations of more easing by the European Central Bank.
Japan's Nikkei fell 1 percent to hit a 1-month low and Australian shares dropped 0.8 percent. South Korea's Kospi dipped 0.2 percent.
The Dow Jones industrial average fell 75 points to 17492, the S&P 500 lost 15 points to 2047 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 75 points to 5022.
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand on Thursday cut the official cash rate (OCR) by 25 basis points to 2.5% and while it indicated this could be the end of the easing cycle, it also said rates would be reduced further if needed.

The S&P BSE Sensex traded rangebound after surging over 100 points in the morning trade on Monday tracking similar gains seen in other Asian markets.

Anil Ambani's Reliance Communication today informed the bourses its decision to sign non-binding agreement with Tillman and TPG to sell its tower unit Infratel for an enterprise value of Rs 22,000 crore. GMR Infra plans to raise about Rs 2,000 crore through foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs), which will be issued as 60-year-old perpetual bonds.
Shares of Essar Oil and Titan will remain in focus on Monday. Essar Oil Ltd, India’s second biggest non-state oil refiner, on Saturday issued a public notice to delist the company from local bourses by buying out the non-promoter shareholding of 28.54 per cent at Rs 146.05 per share.Tata Sons, the promoter of major operating companies of the Tata group, will acquire additional 0.22 per cent stake in Titan Company at an estimated price of over Rs 66 crore, taking its total holding to 19.80 per cent.  

GLOBAL MARKET OVERVIEW
Asian equities traded lower on Friday, after Wall Street closed in the red as investors digested comments from the Fed and the European Central Bank (ECB).
The Nikkei 225 fell 1.92% while the Shanghai Composite eased 0.92% and the S&P/ASX 200 dropped 1.72%.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 252 points lower at 17,478 while the S&P 500 was down 30 points at 2,049. The Nasdaq was down 86 points at 5,038
Data released on Thursday showed initial US jobless claims for last week rose but remained at levels consistent with a strengthening labor market.

Sensex slips 100 points, Nifty50 tests 7,900; Just Dial down 3% 
The particular S&P BSE Sensex delved over 100 items in early morning trade about Thursday, brought by cutbacks in ITC, HDFC, Tata Magnetic motors, ONGC, in addition to HDFC Standard bank.

Equity benchmarks 50 shares index Nifty ended lackluster session on a negative note Wednesday due to profit booking. Nifty future down by 24 points to close at 7962.

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended down 51 points at 26117. The market breadth was marginally positive as about 1484 shares advanced against 1300 declining shares on the BSE.

Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion secretary Amitabh Kant said that the government has embarked on the process of preparing a national IPR Policy for scaling up the process of IP creation and commercialization of the technology.

Shares of Ceat rose 4 percent intraday Wednesday as the company has entered in to exclusive partnership for distribution of Perelli's global range of premium motorcycle tyres in the Indian market.

The S&P BSE Midcap Index was down 0.10 per cent and BSE S&P Smallcap Index was trading 0.03 per cent lower.
 
Wipro (up 1 per cent), Bharti Airtel (up 0.53 per cent), Axis Bank (up 0.56 per cent), and Infosys (up 0.36 per cent) were among the major Sensex gainers.

Vedanta (down 1.6 per cent), Hindalco Industries (down 1.50 per cent), Tata Steel (down 1.4 per cent), ITC (down 1.2 per cent), and ONGC (down 1.2 per cent) were among the major Sensex losers.
 

GLOBAL MARKET OVERVIEW
Shares in Asia were narrowly mixed on Wednesdya with investors awaiting clearer insight on the next Federal Reserve move with end of the week nonfarm payroll data.The S&P/ASX 200 fell 0.20%, while the Shanghai Composite rose 0.08%. The Nikkei 225 edged down 0.05%.The Dow Jones industrial average rose 168 points to 17,888, the S&P 500 gained 22 points to 2,102 and the Nasdaq Composite added 47 points to 5,156.
The Federal Reserve is keeping a close eye on economic indicators over the next two weeks ahead of its critical monetary policy meeting on December 15-16, where the U.S. central bank could raise short-term interest

Sensex marginally higher ahead of RBI policy; metals shine India's central bank is likely to keep its policy rate unchanged today, following a big cut two months ago, and to sound cautious about the scope for more easing as it aims to meet its 2017 inflation target and braces for a US rate hike.

Nifty closed after range bound session on a flat note Monday as investors turned cautious ahead of RBI monetary policy and November auto sales data. Nifty future up by 7 points to end at 7980.

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended up 17 points at 26145. About 1626 shares have advanced against 1078 declining shares on BSE.

Shares of IDBI Bank rallied 8.6 percent intraday to hit a 52-week high of Rs 93.85 on Monday after a media report indicated that the government may sell some stake in the bank to International Finance Corporation.

Bharti Airtel announced the launch of a massive network transformation program – "Project Leap." Aimed at improving network quality, this project will see an investment of Rs. 60,000crore in the next 3 years, stated the company.

GLOBAL MARKET OVERVIEW 

Asian equities were trading mixed on Monday morning as investors remained cautious following a mixed performance from Wall Street last Friday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 15 points lower at 17,798.5 while the S&P 500 was up by 1.24 points to 2,090. The Nasdaq was up 11.4 points at 5,128 Chinese equities opened higher on Monday, following their worst weekly performance lastweek since August.

The International Monetary Fund's (IMF) Executive Board meets on Monday to discuss a staff proposal to include China's yuan, or renminbi as it's also known, in an exclusive group of currencies that make up the basket of the IMF's Special Drawing Rights (SDR).
