LIVE: Sensex down over 100 points, Nifty below 7,450; Metal, Oil & Gas shares up
Extending gains for the fifth consecutive session, the benchmark Sensex advanced over 100 points and the NSE Nifty reclaimed 7,500-mark in early trade on Tuesday as investors widened bets amid increased foreign fund inflows.

Nifty & Bank Nifty Technical Overview

Nifty Technical Overview:
Nifty futures opened with positive note and showed consolidated movement with bullish sentiments for the entire day. It opened above the level of 7400 and sustained above it throughout the day. On coming session if it sustains above the level of 7400 and break 7480 then upside movement is expected.

Bank Nifty futures opened with positive note and consolidated movement for most part of the day and slight bullish rally in later part. It sustained above 15000 levels and broke 15200 levels upside. If Bank nifty sustain above the level of 15200 and break 15450 then upside movement is expected.

INDIAN MARKET OVERVIEW
Bulls just managed to win the fight with bears on Friday as equity benchmarks closed marginally higher amid consolidation, continuing upside for fourth consecutive session. Nifty future up 10 points at 7469.
The 30-share BSE Sensex up by 39 points at 24646. The market breadth was strong as about 1509 shares advanced against 1109 declining shares on the BSE.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) today raised prices of its vehicles by up to Rs 82,906 across models on account of new levies announced in the Union Budget.

Sensex surges for third straight day, ends 364 points up, Nifty settles above 7,450; Quick Heal shares hit upper circuit
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty surged for the third straight day in a row on Thursday as the post-Budget rally continued following creation of fresh bets coupled with a fresh spell of foreign fund inflows.

Sensex closed 364 points up at 24606, while Nifty 50 index settled 106.75 points up at 7,475.60.
The sentiments also remained upbeat after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) projected a robust growth rate of 7.3 per cent for the country this financial year, picking up to 7.5 per cent next year.

A day after the Union Budget caused some turmoil on Dalal Street, the BSE benchmark Sensex on Tuesday posted its biggest single-day gain in nearly seven years amid hopes of a rate cut by the Reserve Bank of India.

The Sensex closed 152.30 points lower after Monday's highly volatile session, mainly hit by a proposal for a higher dividend distribution tax on those earning more and on a rise in securities transaction tax on options trading.
Growth-oriented budgetary proposals like higher spending in infrastructure, the allocation of nearly Rs 36,000 crores for the farm sector and a higher credit target aimed at doubling farmers' income in five years buoyed sentiment, brokers said.
The government's commitment to keep the deficit at 3.5 per cent of GDP in 2016-17, too lifted mood, they added.
The rupee strengthening by 47 paise to 67.95 against the American currency (intra-day) at the forex market did its bit to boost the market.

Live share Market Overview

Sensex, Nifty surge more than 3 percent; rupee hits three-week high
The rupee strengthened to a near three-week high against the dollar, while shares headed for their biggest daily gains in more than two years after the government stuck to its fiscal deficit target for 2016/17.
Further gains in the rupee were averted, however, after the central bank was suspected of having bought dollars around the 67.95 rupee level, according to traders.
The Indian rupee rose as much as 67.95 per dollar, its strongest level since Feb. 11. It was last trading at 68.0350/0400 as compared with its 68.4250/68.4350 close on Monday.
The broader Nifty rose as much as 3.2 percent and was headed for its biggest gain since September 2013.
The benchmark BSE Sensex was up 3.1 percent.

The 30-share BSE Sensex up by 126 points at 23028. The market breadth was weak as about 1058 shares advanced against 1430 declining shares on the BSE.
Jaitley had set a tall target of containing India's fiscal deficit to 3.9 percent this fiscal year, 3.5 percent in FY17 and 3 percent in FY18

Investors give thumbs down to Union Budget 2016, Sensex ends 152 points down
Union Budget 2016 failed to cheer Dalal Street as benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty skid 0.50 per cent on Monday in a volatile trade.
Union Budget 2016 failed to cheer Dalal Street as benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty skid 0.50 per cent on Monday in a volatile trade. The 30-share index Sensex slipped 152.30 points at 23,002, while the 50-share index Nifty dipped 42.70 points at 6987.05.

Sensex was down 156 points at 22,997. Dairy companies stocks like Hatsun Agro Products, Kwality and Prabhat Dairy were trading firm after the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in its budget has proposed four new schemes to enhance dairy farming in India with allocation of Rs 850 crore in Union Budget 2016-17.

GLOBAL MARKET OVERVIEW
Asian shares rose on Friday following a firmer finish on Wall Street and as investors awaited a meeting of Group of 20 finance leaders that will likely offer words of reassurance, even if little in the way of actual policy stimulus.
Jpan's Nikkei rose 1.5 percent to break chart resistance and reach a two-week top.
The International Monetary Fund has called for a coordinated stimulus program to stop a global slowdown from turning into something worse.

Sensex slid further and was trading 300.17 points down at 23,110.01. Nifty was down 73.40 points at 7,036. BPCL shares were trading 4 per cent up at Rs 766.05.
