Nifty settles above 7,230 @ Live Market Closing Update


Sensex gains for fourth day, ends 80 points up, 
Nifty settles above 7,230; Bosch, HUL shares gain over 3%
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty extended gains for the fourth consecutive trading session on Monday on account of buying in index heavyweights such as Reliance Industries.

Benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty extended gains for the fourth consecutive trading session on Monday on account of buying in index heavyweights such as Reliance Industries after oil prices recovered from steep losses in the previous session amid a strong opening in European markets.
European shares were higher in early trading on Monday following gains in Asia, and helped by a recovery in the prices of crude oil and other commodities. Sensex was trading 69.30 points up at 23,778. Nifty was up 26 points at 7,236.

Bank Nifty Technical Overview @ Live Market Update



Sensex, Nifty open flat; HUL, Maruti, Bharti early laggards Cipla, BHEL, Sun Pharma, Tata Motors and NTPC are top gainers while HUL, Maruti, Bharti, ITC and Hero are losers in the Sensex.

Bank Nifty futures opened with flat note and witnessed consolidated movement for most part of the day but closed with positive note by end of the day. It closed near 200 days EMA in 15 min chart. If it sustain above 14350 and break 14420 then upside movement is expected.

INDIAN MARKET OVERVIEW
It was a consolidation session for the market on Friday but the week was strong as equity benchmarks saw biggest weekly gains in 2016 on short covering and globally rally & oil recovery. Nifty future up 21 points at 7212.
The 30-share BSE Sensex up by 59 points at 23709. The market breadth was strong as about 1271 shares advanced against 1234 declining shares on the BSE.
Tata Steel is planning to undergo a massive consolidation and debt reduction drive to bring it down by 10-15 percent by CY16-end. The company is currently sitting on a debt of Rs 77500 crore.
In aviation, SpiceJet surged 4 percent after it recorded highest passenger load factor (92.1 percent for January) among all airlines in India.

Nifty Technical Overview



LIVE: Sensex surges over 300 points on global cues, Nifty above 7,200; Jindal Steel gains
Sensex opened 154.60 points up at 23,536.47 on account of firm global markets. Nifty opened 68.95 points up at 7,177.40.

The rupee recovered from a 30-month low by rising 13 paise to 68.34 against the dollar at the
Interbank Foreign Exchange in early trade today on fresh selling of the US currency by banks and exporters. Sensex was up 337 points at 23,719. Nifty was up 98.35 points at 7,206.
Nifty Technical Overview:
Nifty futures opened with positive note but witnessed volatile movement and ended with positive bias in daily charts. Selling pressure seems to be there for coming sessions. If it sustains above the level of 7150 then upside movement may come otherwise downside movement will continue.
Bank Nifty Technical Overview:
Bank Nifty futures opened with positive note and witnessed volatile movement in range of 14500-14100 for the entire day. Bank Nifty future formed red candle in daily chart. If it sustain above the level of 14500 then upside movement may come otherwise downside will continue.

Today Indian Market Overview



Sensex ends 362 points down, Nifty settles below 7,050; banking stocks plunge
Benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty plunged over 1 per cent on Tuesday on account of selling in frontline blue chip stocks.
Benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty plunged over 1 per cent on Tuesday on account of selling in frontline blue chip stocks. The sentiments were also affected after exports shrank for the 14th month in a row to 13.6 per cent in January.
Sensex closed 362.15 points down at 23,191.97, while Nifty settled 114.70 points down at 7,048.25.
Sensex was down 333 points at 23,220. Punj Lloyd, the diversified engineering, procurement and construction conglomerate has bagged oil & gas EPC orders worth Rs 2,070 crore from Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (Orpic) and Oman Gas Company (OGC) which are owned by the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Oman Oil Company SAOC. The scope of work for the contracts includes the construction of a 14’ dia, 300 km natural gas liquid (NGL) pipeline and a 32’ dia, 301 km gas pipeline. Shares of Punj Lloyd were trading 1.12 per cent up at Rs 22.55.

Live: Sensex opens over 100 points up, Nifty tests 7,200; Opto Circuits, Cairn India gain
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty opened in green on Tuesday on account of firm Asian markets. Sensex opened 134.49 points up at 23,688.61, while Nifty opened 38.30 points up at 7,201.25.
United Breweries (Holdings) has received a letter from Punjab National Bank (PNB) on February 15, 2016, whereby the bank has declared the company as a ‘Willful Defaulter’. The company is in consultation with its legal counsels to challenge the decision by taking appropriate legal action that may be required in this regard. Shares of United Breweries were trading 6.39 per cent down at Rs 21.25. Sensex was up 12.56 points at 23,566.
Opto Circuits shares were trading 14.46 per cent up at Rs 11 in the early trade. Opto Circuits reported net profit of Rs 6.39 crore for the quarter ended December 2015 against net loss of Rs 178.83 crore in the same quarter last year. Sensex was up 63.34 points at 23,617.
The 30-share index Sensex opened 134.49 points up at 23,688.61, while the 50-share index Nifty opened 38.30 points up at 7,201.25. Heidelberg Cement India has successfully commissioned the Waste Heat Recovery based Power Generation Plant at its Narsingarh Plant in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh on February 15, 2016. The Power Plant will utilise the waste heat generated by the clinkerisation lines at Narsingarh Plant. Shares of Heidelberg Cement were up by over 1 per cent in the early deals.

Share Market Closing Update

Value buying, global cues help Sensex gain 568 points; BoB, Tata Steel shares surge
Widespread buying in metal, realty, capital goods and power stocks along with firm global cues supported benchmark indices in Monday's Trade.

Widespread buying in metal, realty, capital goods and power stocks alongwith short coverings and firm global cues supported benchmark indices in Monday’s Trade. As a result, the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty advanced 568 points and 182 points to 23,554.12 and 7,162.95, respectively.
In the 50-share index, Bank of Baroda surged 23.18 per cent, followed by Vedanta (17.39 per cent), Tata Steel (13.56 per cent), Hindalco (9.28 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro (9.05 per cent). On the other hand, Bharti Airtel, HUL, Idea Cellular and HDFC Bank slid 1.80 per cent, 1.11 per cent, 0.78 per cent and 0.16 per cent, respectively.

Nifty futures opened with flat note and witnessed upside movement for most part of the day but sustained below 7530 level and plunged in last hour of the day by more than 100 points up to the level of 7370. Tomorrow bearish movement in expected if it sustain below the level of 7430.

Bank Nifty futures opened with flat note and witnessed upside movement up to the level of 15400 and plunged in last hour of the day by more than 400 points to 15000 levels. Tomorrow bearish movement in expected if it manages sustains below the level of 15150 then below 15000 it can test 14900-14800.

INDIAN MARKET OVERVIEW
Last-hour sell-off sends the market tumbling. The market was flat throughout the day but last hour of trade saw a sharp nosedive tracking a sell-off in European markets. Nifty future down 125 points at 7393.
The 30-share BSE Sensex plunged 329 points at 24287. The market breadth was weak as about 1193 shares advanced against 1491 declining shares on the BSE.
Pharma company Ipca Laboratories disappointed analysts with its third quarter earnings on Monday. Profit declined 44 percent year-on-year to Rs 23.18 crore and revenue slipped 7.6 percent to Rs 684.11 crore during the quarter, hit by exports.
Shares of Jet Airways jumped over 8 percent intraday on Monday after it announced highest ever quarterly profit in October-December. Fuel cost which fell 27 percent in Q3 aided its profitability with total income growing 7.7 percent to Rs 5444 crore against Rs 5051 crore on annual basis.
