Nifty settles above 7,230 @ Live Market Closing Update


Sensex gains for fourth day, ends 80 points up, 
Nifty settles above 7,230; Bosch, HUL shares gain over 3%
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty extended gains for the fourth consecutive trading session on Monday on account of buying in index heavyweights such as Reliance Industries.

Benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty extended gains for the fourth consecutive trading session on Monday on account of buying in index heavyweights such as Reliance Industries after oil prices recovered from steep losses in the previous session amid a strong opening in European markets.
European shares were higher in early trading on Monday following gains in Asia, and helped by a recovery in the prices of crude oil and other commodities. Sensex was trading 69.30 points up at 23,778. Nifty was up 26 points at 7,236.

Bank Nifty Technical Overview @ Live Market Update



Sensex, Nifty open flat; HUL, Maruti, Bharti early laggards Cipla, BHEL, Sun Pharma, Tata Motors and NTPC are top gainers while HUL, Maruti, Bharti, ITC and Hero are losers in the Sensex.
Bank Nifty Technical Overview:
Bank Nifty futures opened with flat note and witnessed consolidated movement for most part of the day but closed with positive note by end of the day. It closed near 200 days EMA in 15 min chart. If it sustain above 14350 and break 14420 then upside movement is expected.

INDIAN MARKET OVERVIEW
It was a consolidation session for the market on Friday but the week was strong as equity benchmarks saw biggest weekly gains in 2016 on short covering and globally rally & oil recovery. Nifty future up 21 points at 7212.
The 30-share BSE Sensex up by 59 points at 23709. The market breadth was strong as about 1271 shares advanced against 1234 declining shares on the BSE.
Tata Steel is planning to undergo a massive consolidation and debt reduction drive to bring it down by 10-15 percent by CY16-end. The company is currently sitting on a debt of Rs 77500 crore.
In aviation, SpiceJet surged 4 percent after it recorded highest passenger load factor (92.1 percent for January) among all airlines in India.

Sensex slides for 3rd straight session, ends 262 points down, Nifty50 settles at 7,221; banking stocks fall

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty fell for the third straight session on Wednesday on rising concerns over a spike in bad loans of public sector banks amid global sell-off. Sensex closed 262 points down at 23,758.90, while Nifty settled 76.80 points down at 7221.40.
Meanwhile, amid increasing global headwinds, Crisil Research in its report has said that Indian economy is expected to grow at 7.9 per cent in the fiscal year 2016-17, lower than earlier forecast of 8.1 per cent and higher from 7.6 per cent expected in the current fiscal, if supported by a normal monsoon. According to the report, growth in the next fiscal will find mild support from improved transmission of the RBI’s policy rate cuts and the implementation of the salary and pension revisions recommended by the One Rank One Pension Scheme and the Seventh Pay Commission.

Live Nifty Future Market Trend



Nifty breaches 7250, Sensex weak; banks drag, Tata Motors falls Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, Dr Reddy's Labs, Lupin and ONGC are major losers while Infosys, Hindalco, HDFC Bank, HUL and Maruti are top gainers.

INDIAN MARKET OVERVIEW
Last-hour Global jitters and low interest from institutional investors push further pressure on Indian market. Flows were muted and there was a lack of buying interest from institutional investors throughout the day. Nifty future down 68 points at 7325.
The 30-share BSE Sensex plunged 266 points at 24020. The market breadth was weak as about 779 shares advanced against 1831 declining shares on the BSE.
Punjab National Bank has posted disappointing December quarter with higher provisions and asset quality further worsening. Its net profit has fallen 93.4 percent to Rs 51 crore in October-December quarter from Rs 775 crore in corresponding quarter last fiscal.
Dr Reddy's consolidated net profit was up marginally at Rs 579 crore in December quarter compared to Rs 574.5 crore in year-ago period. The company had to bear a forex loss of Rs 29.8 crore. During the period, total income was up 3.2 percent at Rs 3968 crore against Rs 3843 crore year-on-year

Nifty Technical Overview:
Nifty futures opened with negative note and witnessed consolidated movement for the entire and sustained below the level of 7350 for the entire day. Tomorrow if it manages to sustain below this level then downside movement is expected below the level of 7290 and can test 7250-7200.

Nifty Technical Overview:
Nifty futures opened around 7900 level and consolidated in morning session at the level, which acted as major support and bounced in later part of the day on expiry. On Friday if it sustain above 7930 and break 7960 then it can test the level of 8000 by the end of the session.

Bank Nifty Technical Overview:
Bank Nifty futures opened on flat note and witnessed consolidated movement for the entire day in the range of 16950-16900. Tomorrow it is expected to trade in range of major resistance of 17000 and major support level with 200 days EMA’s support of in 15 chart of 16940.
INDIAN MARKET OVERVIEW
Equity benchmarks ended last day of the year 2015 on a positive note despite tepid global cues amid thin volumes. Nifty future down 30 points at 7901.
The 30-share BSE Sense up 157 points at 26117. The market breadth was strong as about 1452 shares advanced against 1192 declining shares on the BSE.
Shares of Cadila Healthcare crashed 16.7 percent intraday to hit a 52-week low of Rs 320.45 on Thursday, reacting to a warning letter from the US health regulator for two Gujarat units.

GLOBAL MARKET OVERVIEW
Asian markets traded flat on Thursday, the final trading session of 2015.
The ASX 200 index was up 0.08 percent at 5,324 with both energy and materials sectors in the red.
Major US indexes closed in the red, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 117 points at 17604. The S&P 500 finished 0.72 percent lower at 2063 while the Nasdaq Composite index shed 0.82 percent to close at 5066.
