The market has once again opened on a flat note but March quarter
earnings of the keys companies will hold key today. The sensex is up 16.83 points
at 22893.37 and the nifty up 15.00 points at 68.55.80 .About 352 shares has
advanced, 143 shares declined, and 45 shares are unchanged.
The 50-share index ended at all-time closing high of 6,840.80, up 25.45
points or 0.37 per cent. It touched all-time intraday high of 6,861.60 and a
low of 6,820.75. The S&P BSE Sensex closed at 22,876.54, up 118.17 points
or 0.52 per cent.

The
key domestic benchmarks are likely to open higher today tracking a mostly
positive trend in major stocks in Asia and a firm closing at Wall Street
overnight.
