Key benchmark indices gyrated in a small range in mid-afternoon trade. The barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex was currently down 24.67 points or 0.09% at 27,474.75. The market breadth indicating the overall health of the market was strong. The CNX Nifty was down 8.05 points or 0.1% at 8,274.65. The index hit a high of 8,279.70 in intraday trade. The index hit a low of 8,248.75 in intraday trade.
