The market has ended lower ahead of December F&O expiry
day. The Nifty was down 57.00 points at 8267.00. The Sensex slipped 195.33
points at 27506.46. About 1070 shares have advanced, 1851 shares declined, and
115 shares were unchanged.
S&P BSE Sensex was down 196.46 points or 0.71% at
27,505.33. The index fell 226.66 points at the day's low of 27,475.13 in
mid-afternoon trade. The index jumped 149.31 points at the day's high of
27,851.10 in early trade, its highest level since 10 December 2014. The CNX
Nifty was down 67.75 points or 0.81% at 8,256.25. The index hit a low of
8,252.85 in intraday trade. The index hit a high of 8,364.75 in intraday trade,
its highest level since 10 December 2014.
