The market may open higher on firm Asian stocks. Trading of CNX Nifty futures on the Singapore stock exchange indicates that the Nifty could gain 15 points at the opening bell. Asian stocks rose on Monday after data showed faster-than-estimated economic growth in the US and the International Monetary Fund said it's raising its outlook for the world's largest economy.
Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange are 0.33 percent higher, while the MSCI-Asia Pacific excluding Japan index is up 0.43 percent.
